Dr. Cotechini has extensive experience mentoring, lecturing, and teaching students of all levels for both in-person and online learning formats. Dr. Cotechini has delivered numerous guest lectures in various undergraduate Anatomy courses, facilitated and delivered small group learning sessions for postgraduate-level professionals, and served a two-year term as Co-chief Prosector for Medical Gross Anatomy. Since 2018, Dr. Cotechini has been a co-instructor for CANC 380, Evolutionary Biology of Cancer, in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program.
Dr. Cotechini is a reproductive biologist and cancer immunologist interested in understanding the various ways in which cells of the immune system can both contribute to and protect against disease.
