Teaching Experience

Dr. Adams has more than 25 years experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level in the areas of pharmacology, cardiovascular sciences, respiration, therapeutics, and supervision of research projects in pharmacology. Dr. Adams has also been actively involved in many teaching initiatives over the course of his career with the Queen’s School of Medicine and for undergraduate students at Queen’s.  These initiatives have included developing and implementing the new Fundamentals of Therapeutics course, developing innovative undergraduate teaching laboratories in physiology and pharmacology, and overhauling the Queen’s University undergraduate medical education curriculum.
